The wife said to pick a vacation spot anywhere in the USA for my Birthday in May. I’d like to save a rail trip to Colorado for later when I can plan it better. Any suggestions? I’ve been up and down the East Coast but never more west than Ohio.

Cass would be fun and my wife keeps threating to buy me a livesteam shay. I looked into it last year but got tied up in the big “move”. I also thought to postpone until the Las Vegas convention but my wallet is still wincing from York. Then there is “Domes to Feather River days” by Trains Unlimited.
