MTH Railking Ribbed Streamliners

UPDATE: January 17th…Well, then, as of this morning four cars are sold and I have one Observation car remaining for sale at $140. THANKS!

The time has come!

I made a promise not to buy any new stuff without selling old stuff I’ll never use (to pay for the new stuff). Minus hitting the lottery, it had to happen sooner or later. Yikes!

So for starters I have five MTH Railking Ribbed Streamliners that are brand new in their original boxes and I never even opened them up; they still have the original plastic sack on them they came in from the factory. I bought them thinking I would run streamliner service on my layout, but I’m committed to heavyweights behind the Alco PA/PB so something has got to go.

I’m thinking $120 each for the three passenger cars, $140 for the vista dome club car (see the note below), $140 for the observation car, plus whatever the shipping is, which can’t be much I wouldn’t think.

NOTE: I stand duly corrected by one of our brethren here…the “vista dome club car” is actually the Santa Fe “Vista Club” and the car itself is an observation car. So I have two observation cars and three PAX cars.

Thanks to Ray for that correction! I didn’t want to take them out of their factory boxes so I missed that just reading the name.

If you are interested, you can email me if you like: [email protected], or just call me.

Thanks

What road name?

Yeah, that would be a good information, huh?

They are the Santa Fe.

Thanks for asking.

Too bad they’re not SP daylights. I’ve got three coaches and an obs to pull behind my GS4. Got any other MTH locos you’re selling?

No more MTH stuff…if I had it to do all over again, I might go 1:32; I like the looks of it.

But, yeah, these are the silver Santa Fes, not the orange and brown livery of SP, you’d have a heck of a time repainting them.
