I wanted a dome car to go with my MTH UP coaches, but MTH never made one, so I decided to try one. I was able to get a USA dome from Ray Shoop. I cut it down some to fit on a MTH coach.
I had to add some pieces to match the MTH roof.
After some planning/thinking(hard for me!) I made a tub to hold the passengers. I had some leftover seat castings from my Zephyer interior build.
It has some tabs on it to attach to the dome with the glass. Here you see the trial fit, after I cut(gulp!) the roof.
Here it is fitted on, still some filing/sanding to do and some paint.
