So there you go. I have no experience in Live Steam, but may consider getting on real soon!..You all know I am a fan of the “little engines” from Thomas and Friends, so it doesn’t have to be an American Outline…limited to less than $500…almost 4 babies!

Why don’t you hold off on the live steam. There will be plenty of time. Spend your time developing the track work that will hold the steamers and enjoy the toy trains with the “cowboys”. There will be plenty of time to share live steam with these young guns as they get a little older and understand to respect the smoke (steam).
