Moved the rail fanning day

Being the pragmatic type (he he he hi hi hi) I decided to get my fill today instead of the usual Friday.

First on the list was VIA Train #2 aka “The Canadian” (Vancouver - Toronto), which arrives in Kamloops at 06:00 and departs at 06:35 after engine crew change and refueling. Had to leave the house at 04:30 to get there on time.

Second was the transfer run of the KPR ( our local short line owned by KnightHawk) from Kamloops CN Yard to Vernon, 5 engines, 43 cars.

And in between all kinds of stuff happened. Videos are in the works.

Oooops forgot the follow-up post, here goes

VIA #2 — “The Canadian” Vancouver to Toronto at Kamloops

Arrival at 06:24; a bit late but not bad on 9 1/2 hours from Vancouver.

Rocky Mountaineer on the way to Jasper AB

looks like Rocky Mountaineer are still short one engine, doesn’t look so good when an old CP Rail engine heads up the Luxury Train.

Kelowna Pacific Railway - Kamloops CN yard to Vernon

The more than seven hours adventure watching the KPR slowly, ever so slowly (10MPH speed restriction on their line) make its way towards the Okanagan Valley.

Quite a bit more coming when I get around to doing the editing. :open_mouth: :expressionless:
