at the radio station I recently received a pre-release DVD for previewing “the Bridge”, a 2003 film and Academy Award Nominee for Short Form Film…recently released to the States. It’s Sub-titled, but you could watch it in Mute and still get the just of the film

As a father, it was totally Heart-Wrenching, Heart-Breaking and downright Collapsing… but Redemptive at the same time…your choice to watch. There is a great deal of R/R footage.

When I saw the title I thought it was another movie also called “The Bridge” but that was a 2006 documentary on why people commit suicide (or try) on the Golden Gate Bridge, that was an enormously powerful and compelling but sad film, but one that I dont recommend unless you can handle the subject as it caught people in the act, its a very disturbing but compelling subject that I thought was handled very carefully in the movie, it does demand a very even keeled and sober mind to view. BTW the average is 2 jumpers per month.
