On our Oz trip (1991) it was hilarious kibitzing back and forth with some of our tour guides at the different locations.
The only sour puss was the driver on the Kakadu tour who threatened that if we called him “driver”, he’d call us “cattle”.
So I decided to refer to him as “Cabbie”. That was a huge hit, very quickly picked up by the rest of the party. Nah, he couldn’t feed me to the crocs in the Yellow River. And the tour was only two days. :lol:
