Morning Glory

Its 0800 in the Big Sandy Valley, West Virgina & Kentucky Narrow Gauge Shay No 117 is working a string of ‘buckets’ uphill to the Buchanan mining district…

Looking good Bart. Nice colors

Good shot!!

I was really testing track while tuning turnouts at Buchanan…it REALLY WAS 0800…just one of those lucky things…I’ve learned to take the camera out to the RR with me most of the time…ya never know whats gonna show up

Just make sure that morning glory doesn’t take over the RR. I had a hellova time with that stuff out in the front flower beds…

Hehehe its just in that one spot…Id actually like to see a bit more of it…

Bart,

If you take the camera out to the railroad most every time. You either don’t get out there very much or you hoard your photos or share them with some other group of nardowells.

Great picture!

All photos welcome.

Ric, he’s probably like me…has the camera, just forgets to use it…

Eh…when ya only have two locomotives and 4 hoppers operational, cool images only show up every so often…but I get pictures of birds, flowers, airplanes…other neat stuff while I’m out there…and yeah…soemtimes I just forget I have it…

Just don’t do like I did. Found the perfect photo, the perfect light, the perfect equipment, the perfect composition, never seen the same combo since…didn’t notice I’d set the camera bag down smack dab in the center of the photo’s background until I loaded it into the computer. Oh well!

Or pictures of your thumb.

I've heard there's a button in Photoshop that automatically transforms a camera bag into a tree.

They put it in because you ain’t the only one!

Gee Ken I thought that you had some buxom beauty between you and the train. You sure that’s just a thumb?

That thumb really increases the “perspective”. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
