The windows look nice. It would save a lots of building to make the size you wanted. I have been building my own windows out of wood to the size I needed. But it takes a lot of time and extends the project.
Exactly. I like that I can create exactly the windows I want in the quantity I want, for pennies in material.
Edit: just did the math. The large windows use appx 8 grams of filament. I buy PLA+ in bulk at 7.99/kilo, so a window costs me a hair over 6 cents.
For me, it wasn’t about the money because that’s so inconsequential as Bob just showed.
For me, it was getting the CORRECT size window that I wanted.
Will you be using wavy glass like back in the day ?
What are your plans for making the points and what type of glazing are you planning to use?
