More stuff For Sale at ECLSTS

PRICING UPDATED 3/21/13 All items sold @ Drag-N-Brag - Thanks!

I have a USA Trains Brownhoist Crane and Tender that I picked up as part of a barter deal but it doesn’t really fit in. The crane is pretty much stock except for Kadeee Couplers. The tender has been modified by changing out the body to a newer short caboose body by the previous owner. It also has Kadee couplers.

Here are some shots of it out on the layout…

The crane s functional (boom can be cranked up and hook deployed with a hand crank. If you really wanted to lift anything you would need to add outriggers or cribbing under the flat.

I’m really not sure what this is worth especially with the oddball tender. I think somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 OBO for the set. Sold - Thanks Kevin

Also, I have the RDC-1 mentioned in the other post REDUCED to $125Item is sold. Thanks Stu

And if someone is dying for a Lehigh Valley RS-3 I really don’t have room for 3 RS-3’s on the roster. Choice of road number 215 or 216. Both are lightly used (mostly on road trips) and have been modified to use a trailing sound car by extending the speaker wires to the coupler. Number 215 has the connection on the rear only and 216 is wired front to back.

REDUCED TO $150 Item is sold. for road number 215. Only one will be sold. Original box included.

All items available Friday at ECLSTS. I’ll be hanging around in The Alcove and at the Drag-N-Brag Friday night.

I plan to start packing tomorrow. If there is no interest I probably won’t bring any of these along. So if your interested let me know soon - thanks.

Maybe you should just plan on bringing them to the Drag and Brag, Jon. There just might be some interest there; or not. But, as long as you have room, why not bring them.

Perhaps a little card with price and description on it?

Maybe we could set aside a table at the D&B for selling items.

Yea, I had mentioned a for-sale table a while ago. I’m bringing a bunch of things to sell off. If the room is set up the same as last year, the big side table where the beer was would be ideal.

You might have talked me into bringing some of it. We’ll so how I feel about digging up the boxes tonight.

Dig, dig, dig! No excuses!

Bring a bunch of 3x5 cards and a sharpie, Bob! This could work.

If everyone brings a bunch of stuff to sell then you will have to drink the beers faster to make room.

Well, we’ll just have to make that sacrifice!

OK, you talked me into it. Spent a half hour rummaging around the attic looking for boxes. Just getting around in the attic is a challenge itself. We had a wood shingle roof stripped of 4 years ago and there is still debris all over the place.

I packed up the crane & tender. After noticing some more things not quite right about the tender I’m dropping the asking price to $120 OBO. I don’t want to bring it home.

The RDC is packed up too. Cleaning off the dust it is obvious it was rarely run; it’s really almost pristine. If I was more into 1:29 I’d keep it, but it takes up a lot of room and never gets run. Still asking $160, but make an offer.

I dug out the box but did I did not pack up an RS-3. I have both the display and shipping box for them. It was a show loco several years ago. These have been run, but not more than 3-4 hours. I will bring it along only if there is interest. I don’t need a firm commitment, just a desire to look it over.

I will have these available to see in The Alcove and at the Drag 'N Brag.

I am planning on bringing some bargains. They would be projects that I was gunna do, but the gunna do pile has gotten too big!

I’ve updated (reduced) my asking prices and will bring the following with me.

USA MOW Brownhoist Crane & Tender: $100 OBO

Aristo NH RDC-1: $125

Aristo LV RS-3: $150

Available at The Alcove or at the Drag-N-Brag on Friday. All items sold - THANKS!

The D&B Swap Meet was an excellent idea Bruce. I sold out as did several others. Thanks!

Glad you finally got rid of the RDC!

Me too!

I turned three unused locos/cars into 4 Fn3 cars, enough magnetic glad hands for 12 cars, a LiIon Balancing charger and few LiIon circuit boards.

Thanks everyone for your patronage.

@Paul Norton if you are listening; tell Stu that Franc from Germany dropped by the alcove as we were packing and was very disappointed that I sold to Stu for less than $125.

All’s well that ends well…
