More projects, two tank car kitbashes

This past weekend I purchased a kitbashed double dome tank car, after some research I discovered the prototype was a lengthened, narrow frame tank leased by Texaco, however due to length it was non practical for narrow guage use so only 4 were made. here is a picture of the car along with a picture of a model of it

after deciding to tackle it I decided it was time to pull out a gramps tank that has been laying here for a few years and finally build a frameless tank out of it

Thanks Guys! Terry, I’m using Bachmann big hauler tankers. The second picture shows a stock bachmann tank removed from the flatcar, the first picture is two of these cut and spliced together by the previous owner. here is a picture of the two as a comparison
