More ladder and stuff

Roughed in, will be properly aligned … soon.

Three tracks at Bergün need a bit more work than just two in other stations.

The tracks for the engine shed and a storage area.

Back to the garden.

Looks good Hans. How do you align them after you have the PVC posts in the ground?

Looks great Hans , because I am lazy I screwed all my blocks to one side
On the workbench , then screwed to the vertical post then screwed other side
On, back issues for me makes me think less bent over time, yours is looking great
I never regretted doing it this way. If later you choose to landscape up to it that works
Even better, a great roadbed.
Please keep us posted

Chuck I think the old guy from the north Okanagan has been pretty busy.

BTW HJ looks great…keep us posted.

I use crusher chips to fill about the top 3" to the ladder - below that it’s round rock and whatever else I have handy together with dirt that gets moved from one spot to the other as I get rid of lawn and soil or have to correct hillsides that kept sliding and needed some rock… The lawn gets killed first with a good amount of Round-Up and then dug up.

The crusher chips have had time to settle and compact, so this year I’m topping up.

That’s the before and after pictures; the conduit is for the CAN-Bus and LAN cables.

With a baby sledge and then attach TREX strips to keep the track level at the right spacing. The way it is at Bergün the pipes almost pivot in the soil since there’s a lot of crusher chips on top of the soil. This will be followed by a soil/gravel mix and when it compacts it will be solid.

Since only the good die young I should have plenty of time to let it settle, besides, once the track is on it’s ready to roll even if it is on stilts.

@ Randy

Don’t worry, you’ll get there, too.

PS I keep forgetting about the empty lines in this very special super-duper editor box. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The editor box makes me crazy. I think they call it “feature.”
