The monte Verde Western will hold their Spring open house this weekend (april 19-20at Valyero, Calif.

This ride-on train is on approximately 40 acres of hill property and is a great ride. More details to come.

Just to clarify some things. The name of Bill’s railroad is the Mesa Grande Western. Also the track gauge is not 7 1/2 inches. It is 9 inches and therefore a 1/4 (3 inches to the foot) scale 3 foot narrow gauge railroad. Because all the engines and rolling stock are made for 9 inch gauge, They are very unique in their own right. Harry Pulaski was the original builder and owner…started the railroad almost 60 years ago.

Happy you enjoyed the weather up there in the high desert and enjoyed a unique mountain railroading experience. It’s a one of a kind place.
