The HEP cables are there, didn’t you see them?
I like the rear handrail. Could add a little detail how you made it? Thanks for the info about the figure, looks ideal.
Patrick
The handrail on the back is a piece of brass wire bent. The mounting plates are thin pieces of styrene. I taped them in place then drilled holes for the 0/80 bolts and handrail to go through. I then took the whole assembly off and painted it.

Turned out really nice Terry. Great job
I guess i wasn’t done. It was down in the 30’s today so I did some inside work.
The LA&C RR bought the Davenport without air. They found trying to stop the cars was a bit much for the lil’ fella so the shop installed air on it.
Then I scored this guy on ebay! He’s perfect for a brakeman in the yard.
I still need to order a different horn (single chime) and some air hoses but I think i’m getting closer.

Looks good Terry
I love it ! Cool little engine . I’m really impressed with the wiring. I couldn’t imagine trying to do that.
Terry,
You are continuing to inspire me for changes to my Davenport. Nice work!
Kewl!
Nice brakeman. Who produces it?
Terry
I think you should name your brakeman “Nixon” he sure looks like “Tricky Dick”.
Nice work!
Patrick, he is a Sundance Central figure. They are available on ebay under that name. If you have never seen the sundance central layout, look it up it’s amazing. It’s a traveling module. They sell the figures to support the costs of the layout.
Rooster, I thought he kinda looked like Pauley Walnuts from the Sopranos I even gave him the grey side burns.
