Modern Locomotives

Hello all;

         I just found a web site that has todays railroads and all of their locomotives, rolling stock ect. if your looking to model a specific loco or something take a look.

         http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/default.aspx

  I could not get it to show as a link so just copy and paste it to your browser.

                                                                                                           Smokebox

Hmmmm Looks like a link to me!

When I typed it in it did not look like it was going to set as a link, just the address.
But there are enough photos there to give you a head ache if you try to look at them all at once, I almost made it through the UP loco fleet, Almost…

It is actually amazing just how many locomotives a railway has, I wounder if they pay them off with cash or credit???

       Yes, I would like to fianance 30 of your new locomotives with zero APR......

                                                                             smoebox

lease, that way they can trun them back in once they are trashed and get a new one.

I think I saw a few on a Enterprize lot.

Thanks for sharing the info Rob. I am sure it will come in handy for kitbashing projects.

Hello again everyone;

              This is one more website to find information reguarding prototype locomotives,

             I hope it helps.

                                                                     Smokebox

                        .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_GM-EMD_locomotives#Electrics

See I did the same thing this time as I did last time and it is not a link,

                                                                                  Smokebox

You just have to loose the period in front of the http. Then it will work as a link. Attention to detail. :smiley:

Thanks,

               I did not even notice the period.

                                                        smokebox

Those links really sucked up a lot of my time. But it was worth it.
