this is the Norscott engine that’s on the MTH car.

Joe , I got mine from a website called 3000 toys . They were $74.00 each . Do you have a picture of it on the MTH car ?
Yeap, just got home and see you found it. I just wanted to show why I thought yours was MTH’s. I finally got one.
Love that weathering on the CSX too! Your RR is amazing. Looks like at least one of the best detailed G gauge garden RR’s out there.
That is insane! Absolutley amazing work.

So, Mike, are you going to put a cab on that? Where is the generator going to go? How about the traction motors? Are you going to stick with two axle trucks, or go with 3 axle trucks.
Great job, btw!
Nice work Mike. Norscott most have made a lot of those. LGB had a flat with one on it also.

Steve i’m done with this build . I did finally get it weathered and some day when the weather finally breaks i’ll post the “final” builder photo of the car. I think Joe is gonna put one of those generators in his MP-15 build he is doing. Looking forward to seeing how that looks with some hood doors open . If I was going to put one of these in a loco I would cut it up and show just what you see when the hood door is open and then paint it a grayish color and maybe add a couple of lites inside the hood to show it off at nite .
Its seems like a long time since I have been able to get anything on the tracks with all the snow but it finally did warm up and the tracks are clear again ! So finally I can share the final photo’s of the now 100% complete car. I did a moderate weathering job on it . No longer fresh from the paint shop but not a rust bucket eather.
Looks Great!
I was just playing with that gen and my build. I won’t put that in anything. It looks too good out there on that car! Fantastic job!
