so there is the Switcher…pulling along it’s sound card and speaker in a Bachmann Big Hauler Gon…everything else is inside the loco. Instead of creating some “junk” to hide the load, what about a tarp? tied down in some fashion to keep in place…any ideas> thanks cale
One way to create a tarp is to drape facial tissue over the load, coat it with 50/50 glue/water. Probably won’t hold up to a rain storm, but looks cool.
Substitute clear polyurethane for the white glue, and its a bit more weatherproof.

You might consider using Muslin, from a fabric store, usually around a buck a yard.
Soaked with white glue and painted it holds up pretty well.

Just be careful how you spell it. I know lots of photographers who have a “hand painted Muslim.” Of course to my dyslexic ADD mind, this brings up humorous or frightening images :))
