I was wandering around our local Target store looking for stocking stuffers.
I thought I would do it early to avoid the problem of social distancing later in the month.
I found these mini Lego like trains for only a dollar apiece. They also have several freight cars.
If this post is a no-no because it is not G scale please delete it. But it could encourage/inspire new train people.

Those are really cute. They remind me of the keychain puzzle toys I had as a child. The train, truck, boat, or airplane could be taken apart and reassembled many times. Each little puzzle/toy came with a short length of the ball link keychain, hence the name. Thanks for the “heads up.”

Kid-zilla had one. They are not quite compatible with LEGO, but he played it to death. It was inexpensive, and it supported our local RR museum.
