So I just woke up… How many of ya are started?. I wont get to until I get off work tonite or Saturday after Train show…Let the Games…Begin!!!
Yea, I may start later tonight, if not, then early tomorrow I will start cutting, and hopefully not my fingers.
Nah…what’s the big rush? We have five weekends to go! Plenty of time!
What he said!!
I’m still drawing my mental image … I think I know where I’m heading.
As a retired Professional Crastinator I’m confident it will suddenly become ‘clear’ to me, hopefully in time.
John
Ha and you all give me shit for draggin my feet. I put in an 8 hour day on my project (yeah I have Friday’s off).
I have to work three out of the next five weekends… So this weekend after finishing trim in bedroom, hopefully will be productive…
Well today was a bust for the Mill project… I made a lot of sawdust but none for the build… However I did get more trim done today in the house. Almost done… So hopefully tomorrow I can get started…
Today isn’t lookin to promising either Grrrrrrrr…
Damn. Can’t stand it when life gets in the way of railroading. I see some late nights in your future.
At least your lumber is getting put to good use…at least I hope…we’ll see how it all comes out.
Yeah, I was out on a structure fire at 5:30 am til around 10 this morning… Right now I am sitting in my recliner and aching from a very cold, icy morning. I do plan on trying to work on some of it today to get a start…But, Darn do I hurt right now…LOL
Since the caveat was No Cutting and I’d planned on making profile cardstock cut outs I waited for; 2 days of rain …
You are not alone.
John
You are not alone.
So, um, ah, my paranoia is justified? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

All ways and always … (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)
The foreman Has arrived to check out the progress on the water wheel and floor plan for the new mill…
The wheel layout…
And the final design which will be started as soon as the material is delivered to the site from the railroad.
So not much accomplished but I did manage to get started … (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)
Still can’t get rid of the line between the pic and my text…
It works for me. I right clicked on your image in Photobucket, selected copy image location, and pasted that URL into the insert image dialog box.
Travis, next to the picture in Photobucket there’s a “Share this photo” with few windows under it. Run your curser over the one labeled
“Direct” and left click on that. It turns yellow and says copied. Then just paste that URL in the “Insert/Edit image” box and that should take care of all that extra code your seeing.
Well The crew finally got off to building this afternoon. They had to scrounge up some unused wood in the scrap box. So as ya can see We are off… Maybe off my rocker… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif). So anyways. I have all of my walls cut out of 3/16 birch plywood that I have had for some time from previous buildings. Made some minor changes to the dimensions, Due to the fact that the building site inspector said NO Way it will fit!!.
Walls all laid out and ready to be cut…
Main part of the mill cut out and marked for stone…
The addition to the mill cut and marked. This will be attached to the end of the main building with one window.
Side walls of the small addition with corner braces. 1/2 x 1/2 glue and pinned.
Using a saw to remove the section for the window.
And… the window that I cast out of resin from a mold I made some time ago playing around, temporarily fitted. The boss looks mighty happy that we got this far in a coulple of hrs…
So for now I am playing catch up on this project… Thanks for looking… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)
Ken… Thank You for the help with the picture posting and whomever else chimed in. This way is sooooo much easier!.. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)
