We finaly got the corners done and picked up enough LGB straight track from Watts to finish the overhead layout. I have my short Kalamazoo train running at the moment. Enjoy. Mike
Too Cool, looks great!

Looks great. Like the way you did the corner.
Pic of the newest locomotive in the stable, Kalamazoo 4-4-0 built up from parts. I have a second one in the shops now. Cheers Mike
It is so cool when you get to run your first train on the layout.
I like the 4-4-0. Looks good.

Mike, have you put wallpaper on the ceiling, or is that one mighty plastering job? The cornice work is interesting - don’t tell me you painted all that floral work by hand!
Oh yeah - the train is neat, too!!!
Looks good I would love to do something like that. I only see one problem. That #24 car needs to go. LOL
My wife is the Gorden fan, not me. I have my trains and tractors, so she gets her #24 stuff. The ceiling is all plaster work. House was built in the mid 70’s The floral border on the wall is just wall paper. I do plan to do some kind of nice edge trim around the layout to hide the joints and transitions from the shelfs to the corner boards. Mike
Totally missed the #24 stuff but I do like the IH fan.
Mike Toney said:Ha, I see a 48 car there too! I guess it's OK as long as it is a Chevy :) Ralph
