sitting for two years on the shelf, adding water, oil +butane and up she goes
It’s always good to see a little locomotive friend in action again. Trains are not supposed to gather dust; they need to be on their tracks giving folks pleasure.

Good for you Manfred! I ran mine once last year and it did great, should get it out again I guess. But using track power for my MTH trains I really have to clean track after running live steam, and I’m lazy/old.
Nice video Manfred, Its nice to know that a live steamer runs great after it is stored away for a while.
And Jerry stop running those sparkeys. Just run the live steamers and clean the track once a year.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
I like your modifications to the Mikado. I’ve just recently acquired one and I have some serious plans for changes to make it a little more to my liking.
Jerry
Now you need to make a live steam track (raised)
Too old Sean, have some elevation on mine, about 3 landscape blocks high.

I always liked the Mik. two friends of mine have them and they always run great even after they have been sitting for long periods.
