I might just be a bunch of parts piled on a flatcar. Or it could be a homebuilt donkey engine, using the cab and tender of an old loco to provide fuel, water and shelter for the operator.
A flatcar load of scrap?.. Send it over, I’ll build something out of it.

Oh, and I believe the donkey is unrelated … found a note someplace that said MWCRR is trying to get the wherewithal to replace the boiler… so a pile of various parts on a flat it is.
that is the tender shell and cab of former Argent Lumber Company’s number 2, sister engine of #6. The Midwest Central Railroad is currently rebuilding this engine to run with there #6. The Donkey was aquired a couple of years ago from ? .
