well today I was able to measure and cut portions of the highly used combine into my proposed diner/café, and was able to glue them together, gut with a chop saw and razor saw for straightness trying to line up board seams, after securing the major part was determined that perhaps the kitchen section would be at one end rather than the back allowing the building to be longer but slimmer. Only have enough Bachmann coach for 1 side so am substituting evergreen #4150 for the back wall and ends. located material to make entrance doors and kitchen doors, during a small storm was able to design a sign for the top of the building on my silhouette

Did have much time today but got a little done, made a front door for the diner out of the car end door and it will go in the car sliding door spot, also was able to get the back side of the car wall glued and now just needs to be trimmed using a large paper cutter, 
found Evergreen styrene # 4150 to be a close enough match to the car siding.
Bill, glad you are joining us. Just a note. You are not posting you log in the correct place. Scroll down through the forum lists to the modeling section. In that section you will see a sub section that says annual MIK challenge or something to that effect. You will then see where we have all created our own thread for our logs. Dont forget your all important napkin drawing.
