Fr. Fred sent me some new pictures. Have you ever seen the remains of a boxcar sticking straight up through the top of a through truss bridge???

How did it happen? Who took the photos? Hope no one got hurt. One or two trains? What position on what train was the vertical boxcar?
How are they going to clean it up? Does anyone know the phone number of a good bridge inspector?

Honestly in looking at it…could be kinda a neat father son model project he would “really” enjoy. I should have never introduced the Addams Family series to him(not the movies)…Gomez and his Lionel’s are very thrilling for my 8yr old!

Holy moly! That’s gonna be a mess to clean up. The sad part is, they’ll have to replace the bridge, and they don’t make 'em like that anymore.
I look at that and find myself wondering what that sounded like…
