Micro mark age-it-easy brown

Does anyone have any experience using Micro Marks age-it-easy brown.
Does it hold its color over time?

Thanks

Clair, I have used it to tint the deck on a couple of flat cars. Straight out of the bottle, I thought that it was to “yellow” and I mixed it with the “Gray”, and denatured Alcohol until I got the color more to my liking. I applied it to raw wood, and the cars have not seen a lot of outdoor sun time, so it’s holding up OK. I think it’s pricy for what you get.
I’d give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5.

I have a bottle of the age it black and brown. I don’t like them as much as my mix of black leather shoe die and alcohol (50/50). I bought a bottle of brown die as well, and it looks much better than the Micro Mark stuff. I wouldn’t waste my money on the mirco mark stuff when it is just as easy to make your own die and to your own liking as well. More die, less alcohol, etc.

I use Calligraphers ink and alcohol, mixed to whatever tints I like.
But this is on real wood, not “plastic” wood decks.

thanks for the help. It is a wood project, progressing slowly - I have neither the tools or the expertise to make it happen. Hopefully the desire and ambition with a bit of fudge factor will go a long way.
