I’m selling my mini table saw. $50 plus shipping. Its a great little mini table saw and has served me well for the past 17 years. I’m selling it because I’m buying a bigger mini table saw. The table on the Micro Lux saw just isn’t cutting it anymore so, I’m upgrading. Its a great little saw for those that are into scratch building. PM for details. Works great for styrene and wood under 1/2"
What are you getting ?
Pete,
A Byrnes table saw, with a custom bigger table so I can rip carsides in one pass. I’m going to have to redo my entire work bench set up to make room. Or build a rolling stand. I’ve been wanting one of these for years, and finally had the extra funds saved to purchase. My wife told me I could. I think of it as a “paid off all my school loans”/grad school present.
Craig,
if I didn’t already have the bigger Micro Mark version, the one you are going for is the best out there. I have seen one and they are the cats Meow.
Al P.
Al,
Everything I’ve read seems to indicate that these saws are very well made. I almost never pick up a hobby knife anymore as I have found a mini saw to work a lot better. This new one should improve work flow a lot more!

I have the older version which I have been very pleased with for many years (at least 10). Yes, it will cut brass to about 1/16th, and wood up to the blade thickness. My trick is to get a selection of blades - 120 tooth for metals, 80 tooth for plastic and 20 tooth rip blade for wood. I also have the extended fence and lots of the zero-clearance blade thingies, plus the fingers for holding fragile items.
I cut plywood for carrying boxes and 2" plastic tube (hold it against the fence and spin it slowly in the blade.) Brass strip not problem, and I even cut aluminum sheet once for coach floors.

If all goes well my etching designs I won’t need to cut any. But yes this was one factor among many.
