Micro Engineering Tie Strips code 250

I have 6 boxes of code 250 narrow gauge tie strips. They are brand new and have never been out of the boxes . There are 48pc per box to make 25" of track. They list for $52 a box, I’ll take $30 a box. Shipping is no problem with all costs at buyers expense.

Edit: to add picture

I don’t run code 250, but if I did those would be of interest. I like the ‘random’ placement rather than having all the tie ends perfectly aligned.

Randy

I will take one.

don’t worry about shipping, I live in Conway

They are nice tie strips, but not for any traffic areas. They do look sharp on Randy’s reverse loops.

Guys - there are a couple of different widths of rail in use out there. Llagas rail is either 3mm or 4mm wide.

Pete’s right, The AMS rail I use on the rest of my layout doesn’t work with the ME ties. I used rail from Switch Crafters with them and the old Llagas rail I have does as well. I just measured them both at 5mm.

Careful of these tie strips. If there’s not real good solid support (concrete, wood, PVC) underneath them, they will break off the rails like snapping dry twigs in half if they’re on the ground and you step on them. The plastic spikes are staggered, low profile, and just not strong enough to support the rail even on carpet if you accidently step on the track.
