It is the morning of Christmas Eve. The Kaskaskia Valley Railway and the marina in Carlyle are on Holiday Schedules as employees begin the celebration with family and friends. We wish all of you the Merriest of Christmas tidings and may you be blessed with the reason for the season. For those of you not celebrating Christmas, I hope you have a chance to enjoy the day off.
Taking Martha (a widow I drive to church) to the Christmas Eve service tonight. Then tomorrow I’ll go to Mom’s for the festivities. Maybe spend Friday at the Botanic.
Susan and the boys have gone to Florida to see Grandma and Grandpa.

My oldest Aaron will be arriving home for a few days tonight. A quiet family evening planned setting up the tree and wrapping presents. My brother-in-law and his family will join us for Christmas dinner which is always enjoyable.

Yes, Merry Christmas to all. Had to work my job this morning as the railroads here in Detroit weren’t shutting down until 200pm, family Christmas will be at our house tomorrow, hoping for decent driving conditions. Enough snow now so Santa shouldn’t have a problem getting thru tonight.

If I hadn’t it would have been Bah!!! Humbug!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone. I Was originally suppose to work christmas day but ended up taking off. Had to take my 8 month preg wife to hosipital for dehydration (has the flue) today. Will be spending chistmas day taking care of her and 4 year old. At least I get to be home with them for christmas. Have a safe holiday season everyone
