if only it could be true… Forget the material things.
I took my traditional lone walk just after midnight last night as I usually do. Quiet reflection alone out in the middle of nowhere here is a time for a fervent prayer for peace in the world, the safety of all those who guard it and a thank you for the beauty and awe of the creation around me. A prayer for my friends, family and the son I have lost. Then a slow walk back home to bed and a peaceful sleep.
Someday those prayers will be answered.
