I need 3 sets of MDC trucks, any out there? No wheels needed. Would take a few extra also. Let me know.
Kinda rare birds, most of the ones I had were cracked where the sideframe connects to the bolster.
Good luck Jerry!

Does Piko sell parts? They’re doing the old MDC molds, but the trucks are made from a much stronger plastic or re-designed or something that makes them a lot stronger than the MDC ones.

Okay thanks.
Jerry
Try Mainline America, they have a web site, and a gentleman selling on ebay. search “1/32” in “g all” for the trucks

I saw that, I think you can get the plastic USA versions cheaper. I’ll check with Kidman’s, when they get back from the GR convention.

Please do. as a recent convert to 1/32 from 2 rail 1/48 , its a whole new world to me. I am an incurable scratchbuilder and any way to save a buck or two helps.
Also I have read with interest your posts on the K-Line gpdiesel, bought a junker my self and it is undergoing changes to be more scale like. its basically a shortened GP35 body.

Paul,
Open the motor blocks up. Usually that gear is split. I got one that had never been run and it’s gear was bad. I pinned them in place, they still wobble a little, but not too bad.
