Marty advertises this as a ‘Battery Powered Steamup’ but more and more live steamers show up every year. Rodney Eddington brings his excellent elevated portable track that has two tracks on it with 20’ curves. It’s a fun time and you can also run on the big 3500’ layout, if you have R/C, it has huge bridges and neat photo ops everywhere. Sundays are real great for running, seems that most are pooped out by then. Many vendors come with items as well as folks bringing their excess stuff to sell. This year it is 24, 25 & 26 Sept in Nebraska City, NE. Eastern edge of the state, near Omaha. Banquet Saturday night with good door prizes.

Richard Snyder has a nice track just about 20 minutes south, it’s great for live steam also.

Would have been fun to see you again, Ron Senek is bringing his LS Mike(he stopped by here last week), hope a few others bring theirs. Ron and I usually double head, could be fun to link up a bunch of them! I’m taking my Eggliner and coaches, just to bug Marty, he hates them! :slight_smile:
