Um, probably too late to mention, but I use regular Atlas track nails for similar fastening. The heads are already rounded, so that could save you some time, at least on the next project.

Not much progress today with church and family over to help rearrange the bedroom because the Miss bought a new to her dresser that would not fit where her old one was.
