Happy 234th birthday. It seems like it was only yesterday…
Right and proper, Steve.
Did you know that “Sesame Street” has its 40th today?

It’s just one more birthday, eh!

Chief Hospital Corpsman (Fleet Marine Force/Surface Warfare)
Translated, my job was that of a Hospital Corpsman (Medic), my rank was Chief Petty Officer, and I am qualified in both the Fleet Marine Force and the Surface Warfare communities.
I still have to pay $1.85 for a cup of Pike’s Peak coffee at Starbucks.
Thanks, and to all my brothers-in-arms have a great Armistice Day or Veterans Day

Thanks to all Vets and active duty military.
I salute those who have done their time in the military. Some gave their all.

I do love my Corps. Happy birthday…
Jon.
To those of you Devil Dogs and past (or is it always) Devil Dogs, happy belated Marine Corps Birthday. The Devil Dog name (Tuefelhunde) has a lineage that can only be admired, and to this day, that spirit lives in all of those who and are part of that branch of service.
I was on the road this time around and lent a hand with this holiday at Joint Base Balad in Iraq. From the Marines I used to barfight with when I was much much younger and dumber, to the corpsmen of today you better beleive their spirit is unchanged.
