Making a Snow Plow-ideas?

I just got a Aristo snow plow blade from Kidman’s. Plan to build a car for it, thinking of a wood gondola big enough to hold a brick. Possibly a cupola on front from a New Bright Caboose? Just throwing out ideas, thought some of you would have better ones!
Jerry

half a boxcar and a cupola…

I did as Ken has done, but for simplicity, omitted the wings.

Thanks guys. May blend the blade with the plan that was in GR awhile back.

Jerry, I added an aristo blade to a Bachmann annie tender for a short but substantial looking plow in 22.5 or 29th scale.

Hmmm, I have a New Bright tender in the barn, may go check it out size wize. Thanks Dave.

This is my 1st attempt at posting photos here…
I always liked short snowplows so I freelanced this one
a few years ago in 1:22.5. Bmann annie tender matted to aristo plow. It has a cut down LGB mogul snow plow under it as a flanger blade.USA trucks replaced stock bmann trucks to allow it to sit lower. Top is decked with popsicle sticks and oval indicator is to let engineer know if flanger blade is up or down. I designed to work but never used it.All I would need to do is weight it down and maybe add ball bearing wheels to help it roll easier.

Well I got pics to my files now what?

While posting, double click on the photo in My Files. In IE 7 it will ask if ok to “copy” to the clipboard. Then you “paste” it into your post.
I think in FF the “copy” and “paste” is done for you when you click on the photo.
