Is that going to make it to York?
No, still too much to do, scenery, order and paint a few SLM figures, finish the loco, interior details, etc. I'm shooting for the fall show. I'm not sure if I'm going to make it up but I'm trying to go up for Saturday.

…grinning…

Looking very nice. later RJD

Brian,

I sure do think you should bring it as “a work in progress”. We’ll make room in the “Alcove” if you change your mind.

Thanks Ric. I may do that for Saturday. I’ll send you a message later in the week if I can work it all out.

Brian,

You’ll have to just “shot from the hip” - we are underway at 0630 Wednesday morning. We’ll make room if you bring it. You can leave a message here and I might see it. I purposely do not look at email while I am away. But I do try to stay up on important stuff here.

I like the idea of bringing it. Love to see it in person. Pictures never do justice to a project like this.

Brian, I’ve been following your build… nice. I’d like to see it in person. Geoff

Nooooooooo

I started mods to the critter by beefing out the radiator, new engine compartment doors, muffler, etc. I started modifying a figure to fit.

Note to Ric - I’ll be bringing up the mini layout (in progress) to ECLSTS Saturday. I just couldn’t go another year without seeing all you guys’ pretty faces. -Brian

Guys, Andy and I are bringing a couple of extra tables and we’ll try to get a couple from the Show. The “alcove” is ours and we’ll do our best to make and keep it friendly for all. If we have to rotate stuff, we can do that also. Tracks can also be allocated on the “Timesaver” for some rolling stock. It will all work.

I’m bringing my own table!
Actually I’m gonna back my truck up to the door in the alcove and put all my stuff in the bed!

Brian, if you ever get a chance to visit their place, do it, well worth the tour!

I trucked the mini layout up to York yesterday, in case you were not able to make it up the show I have been making a bit of progress on the mini layout - the loco got a coat of paint the flat got a few barrels to haul around used real stone for the stone walls of the creek and laid down some turf grass. I took a pic outdoors yesterday -

It was even cooler because it was sitting on MY TABLE!

Sorry I missed it Brian. I was Balt. saturday with Ralph and Dave, then had a family thing to attend so couldn’t get back to the show.

But the pix look great…

Loved the shutters and it still needs gutters!

Looks good outside, but it was sure great to see it in person.
