Major bug fix

Hi folks
With Bruce’s help, I tracked down a fairly major bug in the way cars were picked up. If you had a loaded car delivered somewhere, there was a >50% chance that the car would never get picked up again. Those of you that came here in Sept saw all the cars piling up at the freight house.

Anyway, I plan on releasing that bug fix, and a couple other tweaks, in the next week or so.

Thanks Bob ! My “operations” are just about curtailed for the winter. I might get a chance to run a TrainOps train one or two more times before snow. Once that comes I don’t bother with switching since by the time the line is cleared I’m ready to come inside :smiley:

If at any point in the future you are considering adding features I have a suggestion: Allow multiple databases selectable at start up. Reason: One for my 1:29/1:24 trains and another for my 1:20 stuff and perhaps a third for live steam.

Version .74 has been released. It addresses some pretty major issues.

Realistic switchlists are now available (based on a Penn Central format from the early 1970s)
Added “Train Building Work Form” report to help spot industries that aren’t served by enough trains

I like that switch list…a lot more detailed.

Yea, its a bit more difficult to read, its not just a “pick this up, drop this off” but i like the format better.
