Magazine Back Issues

Does anyone know of a place where I can get back issues of Garden Railways Magazine - besides directly from Kalmbach? I’ve got one little hole to plug in my collection (Oct. '94) and Kalmbach doesn’t have any. Once I fill that hole, I’ll have a complete set back to the Jan/Feb 1990 issue. Then I can start on the 1980’s issues.

There’s a hobby shop in Wilmington DE that has back issues of just about any train mag that was published. I haven’t been down there in a few months so I don’t know what all they may have in regards to GR mag. They do have a website.

You might have to buy a set to get the one you want:

Then you could prolly re-list the rest.

Gary,
Thanks for the link.
I’ll look thru it.
I can’t believe all the used books this guy has! Some I’ve been looking for.

Mike,
Welcome to LSC!
They have the magazine you want listed for $3.00.

John,

I’ve done business with them several times and have always gotten good service but it’s best to call to verify that the item you want is in stock. Their inventory is very fluid and changes faster than they can update the catalog.

First I’d like to say a hearty thanks to you for your quick responses (and ask forgiveness for my slow reply).

Ken and Gary, I will definitely check out the places you recommend.

John, I keep watching eBay I have my account there set to send me email notices whenever any new Garden Railways magazines are listed. So far I haven’t seen anything that matched what I’m looking for or that I thought was affordable. I’ve been unemployed or under employed for the last three years, so every penny is very precious.

Thanks again!
