I mentioned this to TOC the other day but wanted to post it here as well.
The NE corner outside window of Seattle’s downtown Macy’s has running LGB trains in it. When I was little my mom use to take my brothers and I down to the Bon Marche (now Macy’s) to see the trains in the window. The trains at that time were not Large scale but we use to love coming down to see and run them. There are hand pads on the windows and by placing your hand on one of them you can run the associated train inside the window. There appear to be 4 or 5 loops on the bottom level of this huge display and 2 or 3 tracks on the top level. They also have the LGB tram going up the side of the mountain. The buildings and figures are really cool too!
