I love my Shay but I didn’t run it enough.
That reminds me. My locomotives with internal batteries have been packed and stored since early June. I need to unpack them and get a charge on them. I did fully charge before packing.
If they are lithium, they’ll be good for another 12 months.
@PeterT Yes they are and for most I would agree, but the Shay is an older conversion and tends to go lower than my smart charger will charge when left sitting. I use the dumb charger to bring it up enough that the smart charger will recognize it.
