An international report has come across our desk that one of our own has once again been promoting battery operations.

Mike stated in the interview, “It wasn’t that big of deal to tow the Oshkosh Tank Transporter -
because it didn’t have a tank on it.”

Here’s Mr. Morgan with the vehicle he towed behind his towing vehicle.

(see picture below, thanks John)

These guys into remote control battery operations, always have to show off what they can do without track power. Way to go Mike.

At least the coffee cup is in the right place…

Here yah go, Ric. You can take yours down if you want. j

Well , chaps , thanks to Ric and John , you may now see the benefits of true battery power , totally awesome in
operation and (almost ) old fool proof .
Because of previously stated problems . my battery power is not remote , but hands on real time stuff .
Push for "GO "
Pull for “BACK”
Point hand grips in direction of required travel .
See , no computer , no problem about wrong keys pressed .(except I do get a reminder when I forget to switch on)

I can see it’s well “weighted” for traction as well! You also bear a bit of a resemblance to an old wino (center) that occasionally intrudes into railroad ops.

OODATDEN?

Hoonose? He passed out before we could get his name. Feller on the left is Larry Jackson and on the right Terry Foley (TACFOLEY). As for Richard Smith...no known photos exist. ;) :D

One is tempted to say " What a handsome chap " or "How fortunate " but modesty forbids such calumnies .
My son said " poor sod "
Ill brought-up lout .

Mike

Maybe the legendary Mr. Smith is that “bird”.

That “Bird” is Eg, part of Terry Folly’s entourage…but isn’t that Mike Morgan in that picture…Terry looks different than that, and that guy looks like the one that was seated in the battery operated towing vehicle, a few notes back…

I think we had better all start putting together a "Rouges’ Gallery’ of photos, in order to keep faces and names together.
