LSC Flyer

I got asked a handful of times at the show if we had flyers for the site. I had one ages ago, but it’s long gone and would have been out of date.

So Ive been playing with AI asking it to design one for me. They’re not bad, a bunch of typos, definitely not ready for distribution, but interesting.

Well heck, that’s not bad. If they give you an editable file it’s done most of the work. Typos are funny.

I agree, not bad at all. And you bet, why not? Other forums in the hobby have come and gone, but LSC is still here, without charge, and with lots of expert advice available, so why not promote.

I haven’t participated in the marketplace bit, but maybe should…

Yea, I dont know why it hilighted that. I mean, we have a buy and sell forum, but not like we’re doing online auctions or whatever

Bob, I like to think I’m pretty good at this type of thing. I’d be happy to help, if you’d like. But, otherwise, if it gives you something you can edit, then that looks great!

I think having a flyer to hand out at shows is a terrific idea.

Anything is good that promotes the hobby.

Wait, When did advice here become “expert” level?

Quiet, you, I’m trying to grow the site…

What does that have to do with model trains in the garden going round and round?

Need to add something on the MIK.

My two cents…

Give a sense of LSC’s reach: Members from Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and other states, and Europe.

Give a sense of the demographics: Hobbyists range in age from five and up and come from all walks of life.

Good points Eric. LSC is not just a bunch of old grumps. and we are spread round the world and are all uniquely different with the joy of trains connecting us .

I’d suggest adding a blurb on the flyer that reads, No Know IT ALL Rivet Counters Need Apply. :joy:
