LSC East coast crew ok?

Just checking on the crew especially our southern guys…We had a couple small tornado’s and some heavy wind damage locally with flooding but all is well around the Rooster pen.

Seen some southern states were getting hit hard, and our Friar lost a spruce today as well from severe winds.

The south got hammered Randy!!

The bad stuff missed me too. Wind, rain and a lot of thunder. I consider myself fortunate.

Wonder about Cale or RJ?

We had tornado watches up this afternoon but nothing hit me some thunder and moderate rain. The worst of it was to my south.

Heavy rain in the AM. Some minor flooding in the streets, and tornado watches all around. But all is well

I haven't heard of any tornado activity in Cale's vicinity.

These storms were really bad. I think the death toll is now approaching 300.

I saw the reports on the national news this evening. Unbelievable amount of damage and death from a single day of storms. We had one line of heavy rain go through form the same front, but it was really nothing unusual.

This has been a wild tornado season.

You can say what you want about earthquakes but MOST are nowhere near as scary as a tornado! I hope all our friends are okay.

I concur Richard. I will take the earthquakes. I have had to run from 2 in Huntsville, AL and 1 in Texarkana…Scary stuff with out a doubt. I have two friends who transfered from Socal to Huntsville and checked with them today via crackberry. They will be without power for about 5 days…but they are ok and that is all that matters.

Pretty intense footage of the twister in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Power is out all over the south so it may be days before we here from those closet to the storm areas . Just unreal amount of damage Lord look after everyone down there.

Nashville dodged the bullet this round (aniversary of the 500-1000 year flood last year). The secret was the temps never broke the '60s here, but even we had a small tornado right behind our church. There are parts of AL-MS that took days to reach due to debris.

Memphis is set to get record floods tho.

Me? I wish it could just rain again. The last two months, every time it rains, it is storms, no just “spring rains” anymore.

Amazing video. What a monster tornado! Look at the small, ropy vortexes wrapping around the main funnel!
