Has anyone ever lowered the high profile on the USA nw2/s4 truck mount assembly? Thanks Troy
I haven’t really noticed that either the s-4 or NW-2 is riding too high.
Still, I think the side frames leave much to be desired. I find the gap between the upper frame and lower hanger is too wide. Perhaps because the frame and hanger are too narrow? Also the screw holes are terribly distracting, so I make little "T"s from matte black or silver computer cut vinyl.
The trucks are being used on another project not on a USA nw2 sorry about not explaining that.
Looking at mine I don’t know how you would approach it.
What if you lowered the body of your project around the truck?
I built a powered tender using these awhile back. I simply used an inch and half wide brass bar to mount the trucks essentially building a powered skeleton flat. I then hung the tender shell at the appropriate height.
