Does anyone know a thread or link on instructions for lowering the aristo FA1? The FA1 seems to be a little high. I have seen some talk about lowering them, just can’t seem to find anything.
The best advice that you will find is from George Schreyer. His Geologically Impossible Railroad Tips has been the go to for many of us for the last 15-20 years or so. Here is how he lowered his FA-1. Lowering a FB-1 is much the same.

I just cut the stubs mounted on the body that the screws go into, pretty easy way to lower it. Just cut an even amount off each!
