Lou's Car Shop - Delvery To York

I have created an album called “Lou’s Car Shop”. These are cars I have painted and lettered. Most are one of a kind. All have at least 3 coats of clear on top and metal wheels.

I had sold some custom cars on Ebay and one showed up all broken in pieces. I was very upset. I think youse guys will take care of my creations. I hate to part with them, but as you could tell, I do have to make some sacrifices.

So look in the Album, send me a message and I will bring it to York. I think $80 each is a fair price with the metal wheels, and the decals and dry transfers cost me, and my time. OK, if I keep up like this I won’t want to sell them.

Enjoy my work even if you only look.

Lou

So what about guys not going to York? Are we excluded from your ‘delivery’?

Personally, I’d like to see pictures of the cars that you’ve done anyway, if nothing else just to ogle at 'em. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Michael, just click on “Albums”, and search for “Lou” will get you there. I have another that has the Raritan River Rail Road, as well as mug shots from 2014 and 2015 ECLSTS.

Nice job(s) Lou!

Very nice work Lou.

Like the looks of the W.P box car, but then… we are from the west coast. lol. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Lou,

Thank you for sharing these photos of the cars you hand painted. Beautiful job. Unfortunately I can’t make it to the York Show, but would love to purchase the C&O for Progress box car you have in the photos, if you’re willing to sell it. I would send you a check, money order, or use PayPAL for the box car along with whatever the packing and shipping costs would be. I would honor having your car and display it with my other hand-painted, one of a kind custom cars. I have a Southern 2-bay coal hopper, a Southern box car, a Rio Grande 2-bay coal hopper (I lettered this one myself), and a hand-made Heinz Pickle car that I bought at a show probably 25 years ago. It’s beautiful. Thank you again for sharing, and let me know if your interested in letting that C&O box car go.

Thank you, have a good evening.
