Los Angeles: Great Train Show

Saturday: Show was well-attended and plenty of vendors for HO, N, Lionel, etc. “G” sellers mainly BridgeMasters and Gold Coast – both Calif. companies. The now expected Del Oro was there - albeit a modified layout compared to the Big Train Show extravaganza. Overall, the operating displays were many including our own writers on LSC; Greg Elmassian making repairs at the Z-scale layout and Vic Smith at his Pizza layout. Great to meet both of them!
Overall, good therapy to see much in the model train world. Not many youngsters and lots of 40+ moving their way through the seller tables and layouts.
Wendell

I was surprised how many people were there.

I was hoping that there would be more vendors, but the big thing was attendance, and it was pretty darn crowded mid day… and there were a lot of people still there at closing time.

Sure I would love a big LS only show, but I’ll settle for what looked to be a successful all scales shows, crowded is good!

Good to finally meet you in person Wendell!

Greg

Gregg, I was there around 10am, looked high and low for you. Guess we didn’t cross paths. Vic was busy over at the pizza layouts. I did pick up two stock cars from bridgemasters and another building from John.
