Looking for someone to bash me a ICRR #382 ten wheeler

Bashing isnt my forte, but I am a HUGE Casey Jones fan, probably no chance I can afford one of the Bowande live steam ones, nor will it probably handle R1 curves. Looking for someone to bash me one out of something, preferably a LGB or HLW drive but open on that one. The tall HLW 4-4-0 drivers are probably closer, maybe stretching one of thier Americans would work. Paul Jensen of HLW did that to make a V&T ten wheeler that is a close clone of Casey Jones’s engine in my eye. Not looking for super detailed, just want the flavor with the detail level like would come on a stock HLW or LGB engine. Biggest details to me are the Arc style headlight, clestory on the cab roof, spoked pilot wheels and high steppin drivers. ablity to run around R1 curves a must. Anybody up to the challenge?? Thanks in advance. Mike

A Bachmann Annie w/ 3 window cab would be a good starting point, its also R1 capable. All that would need to be scratched would be the cab roof. the rest could be bashed from the original parts.

You could do it yourself, just take your time.

The annie has to small of a driver and the wrong stance, its more of a “low rider” ten wheeler than the high drivered Rodgers built 382. The new Wuhu live steam one is really nice, but a bit out of my meager budget at the moment. I would have to sell off pretty much everything I have other than track to afford that one engine. Although it would force me to widen my curves to run it. And if I could do it myself, I wouldnt be asking for someone to build it for me.

FYI There is a G WUHU Casey Jones ten wheeler on Ebay as we speak. At $2k it ain’t cheap but by the time all is said and done might be worth it.

Sorry can’t post a link from my Schmartphone
