I have an overall plan in my head for my outdoor layout but don’t have much idea about planning the track and elevations to make it all work. I know time is money and I’m willing to pay for help rather that waste my time trying to learn using software of things like that. I live in dartmouth and I know there’s a good amount of members here who live close. If this sounds interesting to anyone please send me a message. I’d like to get a basic track plan figured out by spring so I can start on things. There’s still some earthwork to do but the area is pretty much flat and my connection to my house is about half in place. You can email me at [email protected]. Thanks in advance, Ted
Ted I live in Florida so I doubt I could be much help but I will send you a small picture of 1 that i drew up and never built that features 2 main lines, a pond, tunnel, mountain, town and several spurs for industry layout was drawn for both operation and viewing allowing the operator the chance to play or entertain like train meets where ones attention is draw away from the operation( can also be used for “O beer Thirty” during that period 1 train would traverse both main lines but not require switching during the journey. a fairly small layout with interest from all angles. Is designed as a early railroad mid 1910 to 1950 and curves are designed with 1600 radius track, new garden layout.pdf (335.5 KB)
Thanks bill, I sent you an email reply.
