What adds do you have?
I use a MAC and I’m not to pleased with it.
I have a laptop I’m going to switch everything to.
I like it better.
Easier to use.

If you're using an ad blocker (and I do, too!) I humbly ask that you disable it for LSC. I have to pay the bills, and our ads are simple and unobtrusive. No dancing garbage.

I don’t block “regular” ads, but do block “pop ups”.
The ads keep the internet sites I visit free and are, on occasion, providing useful information.
I even click through from time to time. After all, if the advertiser doesn’t get any “clicks”, he’ll pull the ad before long.
I appreciate the sites I visit regularly, and appreciate the advertisers that help keep the sites up and running.

How much Spam do you generate with your own website?
I am no longer on Facebook because of this, yet there is one person who was a so-called friend and I keep getting Spam from him.
If I can find out who he is, it will get real ugly.

Most of the time spam is generated by the computer of someone you know, and they have no idea their computer is sending out the spam.

I agree, but I was thinking of a web page of just out there in web world.
How quick on the draw would you be in protecting your page from hackers on a daily basis?

Illustration - our AV last year stopped access to quilt and model RR club pages which had had nasties implanted in them.

Amen.

Ifin ya uses Firefox, and get the add on ad blocker plus, you'll never see another ad ever!! Now this is the last time i'm a tellin ya, and yes there are a couple that work in IE, but are not as good. That's the reason I've stuck with Firefox, fer over 2yrs. primarily cause we don't want no stinkin commercials interruptin our live shows. Some people refuse to switch, and then "bitch" about the commercials and or ads. Well ifin ya don't take good advice, and or suggestions, then you'll just have to put up with em then won't ya!! Hah LOL Regal

Der now I even put in the download fer ya! Get yerself Firefox the latest download, and den do the below!

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

Now its yer fault if you ever see an ad again!!

No problem with LSC.. Bob We bring LSC post up a lot of time on our show when we do them.. Noelw

I use a stinking MAC and the only thing I block is pop-ups most of the time.
I still like Mac’s Safari Browser better than firefox, even though I’m not a real fan of MAC.
But what do dis have to do wit free web pages?
David

Now U did it.
I had to try the NEW Firefox.
I have to admit It has much more add-on’s and themes.
I spent 2 hours fixing it up with what I thought what would like.
I’ll try it for a week see if I like it better than Safari.
Remind me and I’ll let you know how I like it.
David

Woo there don't get upset with your friend. He may have a bug unknown to him. Tell him about it. If he don't know about it then he is a victim. He should get his system cleaned up. David
