Looking for F scale large crates / flatcar loads

Hi all

Several years ago someone out there offered large, open slat crates for flatcar loads. This was for F scale and the largest was a full load for an accucraft flatcar leaving a little space at each end. They offered a smaller size, two were a full load. I don’t know whether these were kits or partially assembled.

Do you have any idea who this was or where I could find one?

Many thanks in advance for any help you might give me.

Could this have been Bronson-Tate? last I looked they are out of business. time to design your own and have it laser cut?

Al P.

I make mine from scale strip wood and printed labels pasted on, with a little weathering. Easy.

Bronson Tate is indeed out of business but their crates are not what I am looking for. The Longest crate might have been 20 to 30 scale feet in length and unlike the Bronson Tate crates, the sides were not laser scribed but open slats.

I am trying to locate one for a gift (hence my not wanting to scratch build it. Andrew, yours look great and are the correct style.)

Charley…who…Your full name would be appreciated.

Thank you.

CCSII is fine with me and I was thinking the same about making your own load.

I just had my identity stolen. A little over $700.00 on a card that I only use online. The key is that with my full name and state they found my address and phone and went from there. I don’t like putting my full name in a single email or forum post, hence Charley.

Only $700?

Joke?

I cannot answer your question CCSII as I like to build and I personally would build my own as others have posted but I think you may have been given a lead on the manufacturer . Good Luck on your hunt

Hey Chuck,

It is right to protect your identity, there are crazy people out there fishing everywhere. No offense meant by change of name.
